About Me

I am currently going into my 4th year at San Jose State University. I am majoring in Business Administration and Finance. Currently, I also serve as Recruitment Secretary for my sorority Alpha Xi Delta. When I am not going to school or taking on projects for my sorority, I work part-time as a Nanny. My interests include hanging out with friends, watching movies, playing basketball and soccer. I love meeting new people and am always up for exciting adventures.
This is my first time taking a Communications class. I hope to improve my critical thinking skills, to a level where I can challenge questions and analyze arguments. One of my main goals is to be able to present my ideas and beliefs in a clearer more reasonable manner. Instead of being biased towards a certain belief or issue, I hope to come to an understanding of all sides and still state my opinion on the topic, after being well aware of every angle.
Another goal of mine is to become a better public speaker. I hope to overcome all of my biggest fears and worries, so that I am able to deliver presentations with confidence and assurance. I look forward to learning about all of the different aspects of critical thinking and debating.
